Just wanted to say it publicly!
Yesterday was David's birthday. It's funny how having a three (almost four) year old in the house makes every birthday into a HUGE event! It really was hard to convince someone that the party hats and balloons were not going to come out at all . . .
Daddy got some presents in the morning, then - as part of my present, we had company over for dinner and supper. David loves having company, while I somehow, always have a list of legitimate reasons for why it doesn't suit . . . not that I don't love having company too, but it seems that these days, anything which can be put off - does get put off!
So I decided to just go for it, and amazingly enough, it wasn't much more work than getting ready for one set of company, and we thoroughly enjoyed it! (Hopefully all of our guests did too!)
