Neighborhood Watch

Sometimes, I can sneak away from my quiet house early in the morning. The children are still sleeping, and I love to get out and enjoy the beauty of a morning.

I like to take my phone, and chat with my Honey while he's on the way to work.
I like to take my camera too. There's no end of lovely things to capture.

One recent morning as Lassie and I were heading up the road at a brisk pace, revelling in the fresh air, sunshine and bird songs, a sudden roar grabbed my attention . . .

It was our neighbor, Bryan. I'm not sure what kind of thrill he gets out of scaring unsuspecting people, but this sure wasn't the first time he's done it to me. I distinctly recall a past incident in which I gratified Bryan by hopping up and down and yelling louder than he had.
This time however, I didn't even flinch. Instead I smugly remarked.
"That sure wasn't worth it Bryan!"
And kept right on walking.

We sure appreciate our neighbor's.
Couldn't ask for better ones.
