Saturday is Family Fun Day - according to FLYLady, and I'm finding that it's a fun day if you plan for it!
We don't usually do anything extra spectacular, but I think just starting off the day with "Family Day" in mind makes a big difference. It helps us to think about and treasure the time we spend together, rather than just taking it for granted.
This past Saturday we went and delivered a gazebo up around Grove Springs. That was fun! The countryside is beautiful, and the folks getting the gazebo were friendly and likeable.

On our way home, we stopped in at Rosewood Farms to try some of their famous homemade chocolates. Benji got a bag of little tractors & cows . . . all the milk chocolate variety. I thoroughly enjoyed browsing around there!
After getting home and having a quick lunch, it was time to hit the hay field! There were around 190 round bales out in my Dad's field that needed to be moved. So David ran the tractor and I drove the truck & trailer. The children were delighted to spend some time with Gramma too!

After a while, Katri came out to 'help' me drive. Then she managed to convince Daddy that he needed her to help him unload hay!
It's amazing to me how such a sweet and 'girlie' little girl can love riding tractors, 4-wheelers & whatever else she sees us doing!
